Plumbing salary

Plumber salaries are among the highest in the construction field, with the highest wages being approximately $25.00-35.00 hourly, and the lowest ranging from $11.50-14.00 hourly. Apprentices usually earn 50% of what Journeyman plumbers make hourly, with more earnings as experience increases.
Pay for a plumber is affected by type of employment. For example, a plumber working for a large company may not make as much as a plumber working for him or herself. The type of jobs performed by plumbers also determines pay. A journeyman building maintenance plumber will most likely make less an hour than a master plumber for a power plant. A member of a plumber's union will also most likely earn more hourly than a non union plumber.
